Gate piers to No.1 Southgate House

GV II

A pair of gate piers to Southgate House (qv). C18. Stone in
ashlar blocks, probably reused. Tall square piers topped by
large ball finials on moulded bases. On the outer side of each
pier a reversed enriched console bracket. C20 wrought-iron
gates.
