SU 48 SW FARNBOROUGH FARNBOROUGH VILLAGE

2/4 No,21 The Old School House

G.V. II

Cottage. C17 with C18 alterations and extensions. Brick, grey headers
and red stretchers, roughcast south gable: half hipped thatched roof.
Rectangular plan at right angles to road and to No.22 (q.v.).One and
a half storeys; 2 dormers with thatch swept round to east and west
elevations; large grouped stack to south end of ridge. West Elevation:-
two 3-light casements with cambered heads to left, 4 panel door to right
of centre, 3-light casement with cambered head to right. South Elevation:-
C20 canted bay on ground floor, 3-light casement over. East Elevation:-
C20 french casement off centre right, large C20 half glazed porch to
far right, two 2-light C17 casements with leaded lights in dormers. Sun
Insurance plaque on wall plate near left dormer.
