12/1/1967 Wade's Green Cottage)

Farmhouse early C17, with alterations and additions. Brick nogged
timber framing and painted brickwork with tiled roof. Single storey
and attic, 3 window bays in timber framing and 2-bay brick wing east.
C20 added wing (south) framed from second hand timbers. Replaced
leaded lattice casements at ground floor and in gabled dormers in
timber framed section. Plain casements, without leaded lights, in the
brick wing.
Interior: Ovolo moulded beams and joists and bevelled beams and
joists mainly in the brick (east) wing. Some timbers in the walls of
the west wing but these and other visible timbers in the timber framed
wing indicate that this is later in origin than the east wing.
