8/28 The Old Rectory

Rectory now private house. Late C18 with C19 and C20 extensions
and alterations. Brick with slate roofs. U plan with earliest build
to south and later extension to north. Two storeys; stone eared
architraves to windows, those on ground floor with cornices on
console brackets; rendered band at first floor cill level, wide
flat eaves, flanking chimneys on south block and 2 ridge chimneys
on north-east block. South Elevation:- 4 glazing bar sashes.
East Elevation:- central double doors under rectangular marginally
glazed fanlight and cornice on console brackets; one glazing bar
sash in stone arch over, flanked by symmetrically placed chimneys.
