Description


TIMSBURY C.P. LOVE'S HILL (north side) ST 65 NE 2/38 Vale House 21.9.60 G.V. II House. Dated L/RJ/1802. Ashlar, slate roofs. 3 storeys, 3 windows, at ground floor Venetian sashes flank doorcase on engaged Doric columns with pediment broken by round fanlight, at first floor sashes in architrave, at second similarly treated 9-pane sashes, chamfered quoins, heavy cornice, coped parapet; at right return is later lower 2 storey extension with a pair of very ornate mock Chinese doors below. Interior not inspected.
