SJ 55 NE SPURSTOW C.P. SPURSTOW

GV II

Farmhouse, early C19 Brown brick in Flemish and English Bonds with
slate roof. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays, double pile. Stone plinth.
French window with glazing bars and segmental head flanked by 2-light
casements with stone sills and segmental heads with brick herringbone
infilling. Outer bays have small segmental bay windows with glazing
bars. 3-light casements at first floor level with stone sills and
segmental filled heads. Attic windows in half dormers with gabled
roofs. These have barge boards, with quatrefoil shaped perforations,
and finials. Roof covering laid in diminished courses. Ridge divided
into three equal sections by two stacks. The twin gables have two bay
windows each and barge boards.
Interior: Bevelled beams, 6-panel doors, panelled window shutters,
some dado panelling.
