House. C16, altered C18 and C19. Timber-frame now rendered, on a rubble
base, and ashlar, hipped and pitched pantile roofs. 2 storeys. North-east
elevation. Gabled part at left with jettied first floor over multi-pane,
former shop window. 3-light casement in gable, plank door in lean-to at left.
The right part is ashlar and has two 16-pane glazing bar sash windows on each
floor. North-west elevation has 2 further 16-pane glazing bar sash windows
and a rubble wing at the right with a 2-light casement window under, a brick
segmental head. To the south-east is a further wing with irregular
fenestration including one small window in a chamfered surround and a 2-light
casement in an ovolo moulded surround. The west part of the building rests on
an arched bridge over a tributory. Interior. Shell headed cupboard with cut
shelves and arms carved in the niche.
