(Nos 3 & 4)

Farmhouse flanked by barns (possibly all one barn), mid C18, converted to 2
cottages early/mid C19. Dressed sandstone; clay pantile roof with stone
ridge and gable copings. 2 storeys. No.3 (right), 2 windows. Central
doorway with late C20 door. 16-pane sash window in left-hand side of ground
floor. Late C19 sashes to right and on first floor. Blocked slit vents to
right of doorway. No.4 (left) has 2 blocked slit vents on ground floor and
one mid C19 sixteen-pane sash window below late C19 first-floor sash window.
Steeply-pitched roof with rendered ridge stack and truncated stack at right
end. Blocked slit vents on ground floor and blocked garret light with
keystone in right return. Loft door in left return. Rear shows altered
round-headed doorway with voussoirs to No. 3. No.4 disused at time of
survey. Late C20 metal and timber garage adjoining left end is not of interest.
