SX 26 NE HENIIENIOT

6/77 Barn 20m to south west of Lower
Trengrove Farmhouse

GV II

Shippon with threshing floor above. Possibly horse engine house to rear. Circa
1830s. Snecked rubblestone with galvanised and slate roof with half hipped ends. 2
storeys, almost symmetrical south front. Ground floor with 3 round cut stone arches
with plank doors. Above, threshing door to centre with double plank doors. Brackets
remain for slate hood, now removed. 2 slits flanking. Lean-to on right hand gable
end, rubblestone with timber boarding above. To rear, rubblestone ramp to door on
first floor. 2 stone slits flanking. Galvanised roof to projecting wing on north
west with gable end.
Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
