Farmhouse. C18, incorporating some C18 dressed masonry. Granite ashlar. Scantle
slate roof with granite ashlar stacks over the gable ends.
Plan: 2 room plan with central lobby and stair extended circa late C18 with full
width rear outshut to provide service rooms. The original part has kitchen with
large partly blocked fireplace, left, and parlour with smaller fireplace with C17
chamfered lintel, right.
Exterior: 2 storeys plus floored attic. Nearly symmetrical 3 window south-south-east
front with doorway central to fenestration. C20 door, old 4-pane sashes.
Interior: virtually complete with most of its original carpentry and joinery
including: bowtell-moulded beams; dog-leg stair; 2-panel doors and tie-beam roof
structure.
