Barn, and adjoining outbuildings. Circa early C19. Granite rubble with granite
dressings. Grouted scantle slate roofs with gable ends.
Plan: L-shaped group built in 3 phases. Original barn is a rectangular plan granary
over shippon with opposing first floor loading/winnowing doorway towards the right
and L-plan stone steps up to the rear doorway. Extension to barn on the right and
building with loft at right angles in front of the extension.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Virtually unaltered elevations with most of the original
openings. Original barn has north-east front with doorway on the right, with loading
doorway over, 2 small slit ventilators on the left, with small later window between
and small shuttered opening above. Old ledged doors.
Interior is virtually unaltered since the C19 and has old first floor structure and
some fittings.
