- south of Lower Chypraze Farmhouse
GV II
Barn, probably granary over shippon. Circa mid C19. Granite rubble with granite
dressings. Grouted scantle slate roof with gable ends.
Plan: rectangular plan with principal openings to the higher (north east) side and
flight of external ramp with steps.
Exterior: 2 storeys. 2 window north-east front. Large ramp left and middle with
doorway right of middle approached from porch formed by the landing of the steps at
the top of the ramp. Loading/winnowing doorway above (opposite rear doorway). Small
ventilator windows to ground floor, larger windows to first floor with shutters and
glazed hoppers. Ledged doors.
