8/25 Woodcocks Beal Cottage

II

Cottage, divided into 2 and now 1 again. Circa early C18. Rough plastered cob.
Steeply pitched corrugated asbestos roof with gabled ends. Large external gable
end stacks with slate set-offs 2 room plan. 2-storeys. 2 window range. Circa
early C19 2 and 3-light casements with glazing bars. Original doorway to left of
centre blocked. Later doorway to right with gabled porch. C20 outshut at rear.
Interior: chamfered principals are visible in first floor rooms.
