GV II

Pair of houses, exteriors remodelled in mid C19 and in late C19. Ashlar stone
fronts with rubbed brick segmental arches to ground and first floor windows. Rubble
walls to rear and side. Slate roof with hipped ends.
Single depth plans. 2 storey and attic symmetrical 5 window front. Ground
floor and first floor with late C19 or early C20 sashes 2 panes per sash flanking
central pair of doors, panelled to left and panelled and partly glazed to right in
panelled reveals. Outer doorcases have fluted pilasters and shared canopy on
brackets. First floor has central blocked window. 2 gabled dormers with slate hung
sides, barge boards and double sash windows circa late c19.
Low granite wall at front with 3 granite gatepiers with caps and ball finials.
The railings and gates removed.
Interiors not inspected. Included for group value.
