Small house. C18, extended circa 1910. Granite rubble with granite dressings.
Scantle slate roof. Original dressed granite stack over right-hand (north) gable
end. Cast-iron ogee gutters.
Plan: originally a 2 room plan with entry between the rooms. In circa 1910 part of
the rear wall at right angles behind the right-hand side so that it is now an L-
shaped plan with a porch in the inner rear angle.
Exterior: 2-storeys. Slightly irregular 2 window east front. Partly blocked
original doorway, right of middle, with window over, other windows smaller, all with
circa 1910 4-pane horned sashes. It is possible that this elevation was the rear of
the original house.
Circa 1910 dressed stone porch in rear angle. Circa 1910 2-panel inner door with
bolection mouldings.
Part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set in the ancient field system of this part of
Cornwall.
