Farmhouse. Probably C17 or C18, partly rebuilt and eaves heightened possibly circa
1910. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Grouted scantle slate roof with
dressed stone stacks over the gable ends.
Plan: 2 room plan; parlour left, with original thick walls front and part of rear and
hall/kitchen, right, built on lower ground, now 1 room. 2 bay open-fronted C19
cartshed adjoining far right.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3 window east north east front with central
doorway. C20 door, circa early C20 6-pane horned sashes. Coped gable ends built
over.
Interior: original fireplaces partly blocked at either end.
Part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set in the ancient field system of this part of
Cornwall.
