House. C18 reworking of an earlier structure. Red brick encasing and
extending a timber framed core. Coursed standstone rubble to parts of ground
floor. Rear elevation has colourwashed render to part of first floor. Clay
tile roof. 4-window range, 2 storeys and attics. E elevation: ground floor
has 3 windows, first floor has 4 windows, all sashes with moulded flush frames
and glazing bars. Attic has 4 gabled dormers containing 2-light casements.
Central doorway contains C20 glazed door surmounted by rectangular fanlight.
This is sheltered by C19 canopied trelliswork hood, the upper section of the
original porch. Brick band at first floor level 2 red brick multiple ridge
stacks, rebuilt C19. Rear elevation lean-to additions of one storey and one
storey and attics. Variety of casement windows and doors.
