Dovecote. C17. Timber framed structure. W and S sides clad in
weatherboarding, N side with brick infilling to lower part and render to upper
part, E side with lower part rebuilt in mottled brick, upper part rendered.
Clay tile roof, hipped to lower part, with gablet to upper part, the ends
weatherboarded. E side has C19 plank stable door. Small sash window to W
side. 2 single lights to S side. Interior: nesting boxes and ledges,
constructed of wattle and daub, remain intact to most parts except lower part
of E wall. Each wall houses approximately 169 boxes (13 x 13).
