Stable building and cottage. c1755 with additions of c1850. Red
English garden wall bond brick with stone dressings. Single storey
stable building and two-storey cottage. Entrance front: stable at
left has doorway with chamfered quoins and voussoirs. Doorway and
side panels have ventilation slots to their upper bodies. Similar
slots to fanlight. Single-light window to left with louvres and stone
sill and wedge-lintel. Cottage at right has two bays with sash
windows of 4 x 4 panes to ground and first floors with stone sills and
wedge lintels. Pedimented gable above with moulded cornice and keyed
oculus to centre. Right hand return has a reduced ground floor window
now of 2 casement lights with a cambered head, originally taller and
having a wedge lintel. Pedimental gable with keyed oculus as at
entrance front. Slightly recessed wing extending to right.
