SJ 56 SE RUSHTON C.P. SAPLING LANE

GV II

House. Late Cl7 with C18 additions and alterations. Rendered brick
and timber framing with brick infill and a slate roof. Two storeys.
Road front: two bays. C19 door to centre with 4 panels and a gabled
hood. To the left of this is a C18 leaded 3-light casement window and
to right is a similar C19 or C20 window. Leaded 2-light casement to
first floor right and C19 2-light casement to left. To the right is a
lean-to porch entry and to the left a C19 extension with a C20 window
to the ground floor and a square pitch-hole to the first floor with
ashlar hinge dressings and now with C20 glazing.
