Farmhouse, now house. C17. Timber framed with brick infill on brick
plinth and brick. Plain tile roof. Two storeys,originally single
storey with attic. Entrance front: 11 x 3 cells of uneven small
framing with an angle brace to the left hand side. Doorway to right
of centre with gabled timber porch above supported on brackets. To
either side are 3-light C20 casement windows. In the C19 or C20 the
roof height was raised and an extra row of cells inserted. Two first
floor 3-light C20 casement windows with a cambered head to each light
(as at ground floor level). To right of centre is a ridge chimney
stack. At right is a C19 projecting gabled brick wing with 3-light
casement windows to each floor. The left hand gable end has 6 x 2
cells of small framing with angle braces and queen post gable truss
with uprights to either bide and a V-strut to the apex. The rear has
a C20 gabled outshut to the left. At right of this are 7 x 2 cells of
small framing with angle braces and an added row of cells above.
Interior: chamfered ceiling beams and small framed interior walling.
