C16-C17. Timber framed and plaster infilling, painted black and white; 2 storeys
plus attic; 2 gables to street with restored barge boards; overhanging attics
with carved corbels; 2 C19 canted bay windows with leaded lights to lst storey;
slates. Late C19 shop fronts with modern fenestration. Probably built after
tie Great Fire of 1583.

Nos 42 to 52 (even) form a group.
