6/6 Fir Tree Cottages

Three cottages, early C17. Timber framed with thatch and tiled roofs.
Single storey and attic, 2 bays each, "L" shaped. Mainly close
studding with middle rail and angle braces. One gable facing highway
at east end. Fronted by verandah with tiled roof. Mainly 2-light
cast iron lozenge casement windows, ground floor, and leaded lattice
above in gabled dormers and east gable. Gables fully timbered with
barge boards. Large brick stacks with heavy caps. Later lean-to
additions at the rear.
Interior: Bevelled beams, ledged and battened and six panel doors.
