House, now divided into 2, early C19 or earlier, re-dressed for
Rowland Egerton Warburton probably 1860's. Flemish bond brown
brickwork; graded grey slate roof. 2 storeys; 3 windows. Boarded
door with ornamental wrought iron hinges and latch of Arley estate
pattern. One 2-light and one 3-light leaded wood-mullioned casement
to lower storey right of door; one 3-light wood-mullioned casement
with glass renewed left of door; three 2-light casements to upper
storey, that to left with glass renewed, the others with fixed leaded
lights and 2-pane iron opening lights with leading removed. Chamfered
openings to windows and door. Corbelled brick chimney with plinth and
3 separated chamfered flues on each gable. Entrance to No. 13
(comprising left bay) at rear.
Interior: Open-string dogleg stair to No. 12 with moulded rail, stick
balusters and curtail; remnants of oak posts and beams.
Small former stable with hayloft, with Arley estate detailing, at
rear.
