SX 36 SW QUETHIOCK

House. Probably C17. Painted coursed stone rubble with rear wing of stone rubble
and cob. Steeply pitched corrugated iron roof, half-hipped at hight (right-hand)
end and gabled at lower (left-hand) end with projecting stone rubble end stack.
Cement-washed gabled roof to front wing and corrugated iron roof to rear wing.
2-room plan with central entrance and stack at lower gable end. Short projecting
wing at front lower end and wing at rear of lower end forming T-shaped plan overall.
2 storeys. 2-window south front with short gabled wing to left and C20 stone rubble
porch at centre in the angle. Ground floor with early C19 3-light casement with
glazing bars and HL hinges in projecting wing and C19 4-pane casement on right. I
First floor with early C19 2-light casement with glazing bars and HL hinges on left
and C19 4-pane sash in main range on right. Right-hand half-hipped end with early
C19 2-light casement on ground floor and small early C19 3-light casement above.
Single storey lean.-to outshut continues along west side. ,
