Pair of attached estate houses, now one house. Circa 1850; few later alterations.
Snecked Devon limestone rubble with stone dressings. Slate roof with ridge tiles and
gable ends, gable end stack to left and axial stack.
Plan: Pair of attached one-room plan houses; house to left has porch and room heated
by gable end stack to left. House to right has its principal room in a projection to
right of centre and door to right and is heated by the axial stack to left. One-room
plan service wing behind each house. Gothic style.
Exterior: 2 storeys, asymmetrical front with 2 bays to left and single bay projecting
to right. To left, at ground floor, 3-light casement with flat stone arch; porch with
4-centred arched chamfered doorway and Gothic door with battens, pitched roof over.
2-light casement in gabled dormer. Projecting bay to right has ground floor canted
bay with casements, 3-light chamfered granite casement above with flat stone arch.
Similar doorway to the right of the bay. C20 addition to rear left. The right side
has single light at ground floor, 2-light casement with hood mould at first floor.
Left side has external stack. Rear has one-room plan 2-storey service wing behind
each house; to left with door and 2-light casement at ground floor, 2-light casement
at first floor. To right with door in open-fronted porch and single light, 2-light
casement at first floor.
Interior: Not inspected.
