Potter's Lock Bridge
GV II
Bridge over the Erewash Canal. 1779 by John Varley, engineer,
with later repairs. Red brick and gritstone. Single segmental
arch. Walls curve out slightly to end piers, and are ramped to
the centre. Gritstone copings, largely replaced with concrete.
