Terrace of four houses and garden wall and railings to front. Mid C19. Killas rubble with granite quoins, jambstones and lintels. Dry Delabole slate roof with brick chimneys over gable ends and one axial brick chimney surviving over middle party wall. Plan of two one-room wide houses to middle flanked by two houses of two-rooms wide. No 11 (west) has parallel early C19 range to rear with wing at right angles.
Two storeys. South-west fronts. Each house has two-window front. Nos 12 and 13 are narrower with doorways under right-hand windows. Nos 11 and 14 have symmetrical fronts with central doorways. No 11 (left) has four-panel top-glazed door with overlight and lattice porch. Nos 12 and 13 has C20 glazed porches and No 14 has C20 door. No 11 has original 12-pane hornless sashes. Nos 12 and 13 have later sashes and No 14 has C20 windows. Cast iron ogee gutters. Rear wing of No 11 has three early C19 bowed nine-pane windows with curved panes.
Interior of No 11 has open well open string stair and six-panel doors.

Low granite coped rubble walls to front, surmounted by rail and dowel fencing with matching gates.
This is one of a row of similar contemporary houses in St Johns Terrace which form an impressive group in spite of later alterations to some of the houses.
