SW 83 NW FEOCK HIGHER TREVILLA

4/52 Trevilla Cottage, once called
Penhale Farm

GV II

Farmhouse. Circa mid-C18. Painted and rendered cob. Asbestos slate roof, probably
orginally thatched, with brick chimneys over gable ends and scantle slate roof over
circa mid-late C19 addition with gable end, at lower level to west.
Plan: principal room on either side of central entrance passage leading to stair in
rear outshut, which continues behind left-hand room as small service room. Further
service room added to gable end, left (west), linked by original west, back, doorway.
South front has 1 window C19 part, left and symmetrical 3-window original front right
with central doorway. C20 ledged door and C20 2-light casements.
Interior is little altered with dog-leg stair and 2-panel doors with original HL
hinges. First floor and roof not inspected but said to be old.
