House. Circa 1830, parts may be earlier. The walls are plastered and said to
contain sections of cob, stone rubble and brick; brick stacks with plastered chimney
shafts; thatch roof, slate to outshots.
House faces south-west. It has a 2-room plan with central staircase and end stacks.
Service outshots across the rear are probably original. 2 storeys.
Symmetrical 3-window front of C20 mullion-and-upper-transom casements containing
diamond-pane leaded glass. Original central 6-panel door (now part-glazed) and
fluted doorcase. The open porch with hipped thatch roof may be later. Roof is
hipped each end.
Interior retains much original joinery detail.
