4/238 No 2, including front garden walls

House. circa mid C19, extended C19. Roughly coursed slate killas with elvan
dressings. Scantle slate hipped roof. Rendered axial chimney over original side
wall towards left, another chimney over rear wall of extension.
Plan: Double-depth plan. Original house on the right with entrance hall between 2
front rooms plus later C19 wing on the left with 1 room at the front. Service rooms
at the rear.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Overall 4-window front. Original symmetrical 3-window front
with central doorway, on the right; 1-window front addition, on the left. C20 door,
overlight. Circa late C19 4-pane horned sashes. The openings are spanned by shallow
granite arches with projecting keystones.
Low dressed stone wall parallel to the front. Gateway aligned with doorway.
Rectangular-on-plan round-headed gate-piers. C20 iron railings.
Interior not inspected.
