Shop with house, in terrace. Circa mid C19. Stucco front, slate sills, scantle
slate roof with brick chimneys over party walls .
Double depth plan with shop on left and drawing room of house on right, originally
with passage between, but passage now incorporated into shop. Service rooms to rear.
2 storeys. Regular 3-window west road front. 4-pane horned sashes. Hood on moulded
and carved consoles over right-hand window and 2 smaller consoles under each first
floor sill. Original 5-light shopfront on left has doorway adjoining to right with
C20 top-glazed doors and original overlight. Pilasters with moulded caps flanking
doorway, and cap only surviving to left of shopfront. Shop window is complete, with
basket arched lights with arches springing from small capitals. Fascia however has
been altered in the C20.
