south-east of the Church of St
Neot
GV II

Group of 9 chest tombs dating from 1838 to 1892. Brick and slate. Row of 8 with 1
other immediately to the west. Low, brick, coffin-shaped chests with coffin-shaped
slate lids with scratch mouldings, commemorating members of the Pearse family. 3
of the group are half-size and commemorate children. Some of the chests have a
small rectangular slate at the front inscribed with the initials of the incumbent.
