No electicity, water from the well, outside toilet,no phone, milk and eggs from the farm, groceries every 2 weeks by Pethick's truck from Whitstone. Mr and Mrs Fred Taylor squatted on the triangle of lands 100 yards down the road. The steam trains rattled by on their way to Bude.
