GV II

House with shopfront. Early C19 house, C19 shop front. Whitewashed and rendered,
slate roof gabled at ends, brick chimney at left gable end. 3 storeys. 2 window
front. 6-panel door on front at right under large rectangular fanlight. Shop
front to left of door has panelled pilasters with moulded capitals supporting
fascia. Shop window divided by a blind panel in the middle and subdivided to form
2 large panes per light. First floor left C19 12-pane hornless sash. Second
floor sashes are both C19 16-pane hornless sash. The fourth window now has late
C19/C20 horned sash half plated. Interior not inspected. Forms part of good
group with houses in east side of Old Post Office Hill. Included for group value.
