Formerly 2 cottages, converted into one. Circa C17. Whitewashed rubble lower
walls with plastered cob above (unplastered at rear). Thatched roof. Brick chimney
stacks. Originally two 2-cell units with cross passages and store to left (north-
west). Asymmetrical. Long, 7 window range. Ground slopes down from north-west to
south-east. Single storey unit of left (north-west) with partly glazed entrance door
and 2-pane C20 window to left. 4-pane, C20 casement window below hipped roof in
gable end. Remainder of cottage 2 storeys. 3 C20 3-pane windows on ground floor
with 2 C20 glazed and partly glazed doors between. On first floor 12-pane casement
window with two 4-pane horizontal sliding sash windows asymmetrically placed.
Thatched roof with hipped end on left (north-west) and adjoining slate roof of Cliffe
Cottage on right. Chimney stack on ridge to right of left-hand gable end and to left
of right-hand side.
