TL 61 NW GREAT CANFIELD BACON END GREEN

3/4 BARN, STABLE BLOCK AND
ANCILLARY BUILDINGS NW OF
STONE HALL

Barn, C16, approximately 20 metres NW of Stone Hall. Timber framed, plastered
with weatherboarded dado, roof thatched. 4 bays aligned approximately N-S
with midstrey to E. One-bay extension to S, narrower and lower than main
building. Half-hipped at N, hipped at S, Jowled storey posts, cambered
tiebeams with arch braces. Range of stables/ancillary buildings aligned
approximately E-W, approximately 10 metres NNW of Stone Hall, C18/19.
Timber framed, part weatherboarded, part plastered, roof thatched, gabled.
