House. Circa early C17. Stone rubble, granite and moorstone. Rag slate roof with
gable ends. Projecting, circa C17 stone rubble end stack on left with moulded
string.
Plan: Probably originally 2 room and cross passage plan with larger left hand hall
kitchen heated by end stack. A smaller room may have been partitioned off to the
right, unheated and probably used as a dairy. In circa late C20 a parallel range of
2 room plan was added across the rear.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 2 window front. 2-light casement to left and
small C19 casement to right. Door to right of centre with plank door and C20
extension forming front porch. Two 2-light casements on first floor. Small window
adjoining stack on left hand gable end.
Interior: Circa C17 chamfered ceiling beams with straight cut stops. Chamfered
timber lintel to fireplace with straight cut stops. Splayed opening to rear on
right.
