Shop, former house, C18/C19, timber framed plastered with gabled peg tile roof.
N gable wall clad in white weatherboarding. 2 storeys with wing on SE rear
with red brick stack. First floor has a tripartite double hung sash with
central vertical glazing bar and ordinary similar double hung sash with moulded
surround, but with small panes. Ground floor has full width C19 butchers
shopfront with projecting canopy and meat hanging rail. Large painted sign
on posts on first roof slope. 3 plain plate glass windows, 2 doors with iron
vent strips above and tiled stallrisers. Extensive slaughterhouse complex at
rear of no architectural interest.
