Gardener's cottage. Probably C18, and with later alterations ; probably remodelled
in a cottage orne style circa early-mid C19. Stone rubble with granite quoins ; the
rear wall in cob. Hipped thatched roof with stack at the left end, with C20 brick
shaft.
Plan: 2-room plan, with entrance off-centre to right ; a larger room to left heated
from the stack at the left end, and a smaller unheated room to right. All internal
partitions and the upper floor have been removed in C20.
Exterior: 2 storeys, a nearly symmetrical 2-window front; all windows are early-mid
C19 2-light casements with cambered arches, lattice-glazing with L hinges. Cambered
arched door, with panels and studs. Both end walls and the rear are blind.
Interior: Not inspected.
