Late Cl8 cottage. White-washed granite rubble. Slurried slate roof with gable
ends. Granite chimney stacks built into end walls with cap stones. One storey
and attic. 2 later sashes with vertical glazing bars. Central doorway with simple
wooden hood and small attic window above with glazing bars.
Set into rear wall is stone with 2 basin shaped hollows, perhaps for milling grain
or for tin, age?
