7/27 The Nook
GV II
House. Circa C18. Slate stone rubble. Rag slate roof with gable ends. The stone
stack on the left hand gable end is corbelled out above ground floor. Projecting
stone rubble stack on right hand gable end with brick shaft.
Built into side of hill with ground rising to rear. Two room and central cross
passage plan with circa C19 lean to outshut on right hand gable end.
2 storeys. Almost symmetrical three window front. Ground floor; two C19 4-pane sashes
in probably enlarged opening with central partly glazed late C19/C20 door. First
floor with three C19 4-pane sashes.
Interior not inspected.
