Gardener's or bailiff's house. Circa mid C19. Granite rubble with granite
dressings. Hipped scantle slate roof with projecting eaves and lean-to scantle slate
roof to verandah. Brick chimneys over the side walls.
Plan: 2 room plan house with central entrance hall, open verandah at front and at
either side (later enclosed at left-hand side) and later C19 kitchen wing at right
angles behind the right-hand room. Gothic style windows.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3 window east front with central doorway. Original
Gothic style door and 2-light casements with Gothic style heads. In front of the
house and returning at either side is an open verandah carried on wooden posts over a
granite kerb. Original skylights over the ground floor windows with lead-sheathed
glazing bars.
Interior: not inspected.
