Public house. Circa early C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Scantle slate
roofs, sweeping lower at rear over original part. Brick chimneys over far left and
right-hand gable end.
Plan: Cranked plan. Original double depth house (originally 2-rooms wide) has circa
early C19 1-room plan wing built at right angles in front of the left-hand end and a
wing of similar date built at right angles to the wing on its left.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Originally a nearly symmetrical 2 window front with
approximately central doorway. Doorway is now in former window opening on the right
and original doorway has a window. C20 door. Circa late C19 or C20 6-pane horned
sashes except for original circa mid C19 12-pane hornless sash at first floor of wing
(right-hand wall). Rear has blocked doorway, blocked stair window right of doorway
and small first floor window towards the left.
