Pair of houses. Circa early-mid C19. Dressed granite rubble roughly coursed at the
front, otherwise painted rubble. Scantle slate roof with brick chimneys over the
gable ends and over the cross party wall.
Plan: Shallow double-depth plan pair of houses. Each house has probably 2 rooms at
the front flanking an entrance hall leading to stair hall between 2 rear service
rooms.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Overall 4 window south-west front. Each house has nearly
symmetrical 2 window front with approximately central doorway. Original openings.
Left-hand house has C19 4-panel door, right-hand house has C19 6-panel door plus
half-height outer door. Original hornless sashes with glazing bars except for C20
copies to front of right-hand house.
Interior: Part of right-hand house only inspected which has its original stairs,
moulded ceiling beams and panelled doors.
