House and Post Office. Circa early C19, with alterations of later C19 and C20.
Elvan rubble with granite dressings and quoins. Hipped asbestos slate roof with
ridge and hip tiles. Stacks to sides with brick shafts.
Plan: Double depth plan, with large room to right and smaller room to left at the
front, with the entrance between set off-centre to left.. Rear service rooms.
Probably in the late C19, a shop, now Post Office, was inserted at ground floor in
the room to right.
Exterior: 2 storeys, nearly symmetrical 3-window front. First floor has three late
C19 6-pane sashes in original openings with voussoirs and keystones. Ground floor
has one C19 4-pane sash to left and 2 to right in original openings with voussoirs
and keystones. 6-panelled door with overlight. The inner window to right was
formerly a door.
