7/182 Gate piers and walls at the south
- entrance to Trewan Hall
GV II

Two pairs of gate piers with walls. Early C19. Granite and slatestone rubble.
Inner pair of piers of square plan, granite monoliths, about 2 metres high with
shaped necking and ball finials. Lower slatestone rubble wall with granite coping,
swept forward to right and left, about 8 metres long. Terminal piers in rusticated
granite ashlar, of larger square plan, with swept caps and ball finials. The wall to
left has been rebuilt in C20.
