1/98 Bridge north east of the churchyard
- of Church of St Mawgan
GV II

Bridge over the River Menalhyl. Dated GGWW 1748, and 1865 JP, the date of the
widening. Slatestone and granite rubble. The bridge has 2 spans. On the upstream side there are 2 round arches with stone arch rings. Central triangular block cutwater. The arch to left was skewed in C19 to widen the road approach at this side. On the downstream side there are 2 round arches with stone arch rings and no cutwater. The parapet walls have rubble coping and are splayed back at the ends. The bridge is about 5 metres wide and about 6 metres long.
