Description


MORVAH ROSEMERGY SW 43 NW 3/193 Rosemergy Farmhouse and front - garden walls GV II Farmhouse and front garden walls (east). Circa 1870. Granite ashlar front otherwise granite rubble with granite dressings. Scantle slate roof with brick chimney over left-hand gable end. Plan: originally shallow double depth plan with wider kitchen left, parlour, right, cross passage between leading to stair between shallow rear service rooms. Exterior: 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 2 window south front with doorway central to fenestration. Circa late C19 or early C20 top glazed door with coloured marginal panes and overlight and 12-pane horned sashes. Interior: slightly remodelled 1986 but retaining many original features including stairs. Rectangular garden at front with granite coped rubble walls. Part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set in an ancient field system.
