- end of hamlet
Gv II
Barn, probably granary over shippon, and adjoining cartshed. Granite rubble with
granite dressings. Scantle slate roofs with gable ends.
Plan: overall L-shaped plan comprising rectangular almost square 2 storey barn and
integral single storey cartshed at right angles. External granite steps in the angle
approach first floor loading/winnowing doorway (partly blocked doorway opposite).
Exterior: original doorways and small window openings. Doorway in north-west gable
end of barn, right, middle of north-west wall of cartshed and wide doorway far right
of south east wall.
Interior: not inspected.
Part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set amid an ancient field system.
